Paramount provides a wide variety of specialties including physical, occupational and speech therapy services.  Paramount’s therapists treat patients of all ages including pediatric, adult and geriatric patients, providing a number of specialty treatments.

Our team consists of therapists that specializing in treating children ages 0-21 for a wide variety of services that include Orthopedic Rehab, Neuro Rehab, Speech Therapy, and Children’s Therapy to patients in our area.

Paramount Rehabilitation Services is one of only 50 physical therapy centers in the U.S. to offer a Universal Cage, used for the Intensive Therapy Program and the Suit Therapy Program.

We are the only clinic in the Great Lakes Bay Region to offer Interactive Metronome Therapy and one of the few facilities within the area with therapists certified in VitalStim Therapy to treat dysphagia in both adults and children. We have a Vestibular Rehabilitation lab to treat vertigo, imbalance and other vestibular problems.

Aquatic Therapy

We utilize use of a pool, underwater treadmill and underwater video monitoring with specially designed activities to restore and increase a patient’s functional abilities. Click for more information.


Functional Capacity Evaluation

FCE is an evaluation that measures of an individual’s safe maximum physical capability to perform work and is used to make return-to-work decisions, disability determinations, or a rehabilitation plan.


Hand Therapy

The goal of hand therapy is to improve function, minimize pain and potential avoid surgery.


Kinesio Taping and Serial Casting

Kinesio taping is used to facilitate the body’s natural healing process while providing support and stability to muscles and joints without restricting the body’s range of motion.



Lymphedema treatment involves the use of compression bandages, exercise, and manual lymphatic drainage to reduce swelling and infections while increasing strength, range of motion and use of the body part.


Manual Therapy

We utilize manual therapy to reduce muscle tightness, improve movement and function while improving functions.


Step Down Program

The Step Down Program is an opportunity for patients to independently continue their exercise program for free for thirty days after being discharged.


Therapeutic Massage

Therapeutic massage increases circulation while relaxing muscles which helps the injured area to become more flexible, decreases swelling and pain while improving healing time.

Pelvic Pain

Goals of treatment are to relieve muscle spasms, reduce burning sensations, and to have pain free intercourse.

Treatment will help strengthen pelvic muscles, reduce need for medication and to prevent the possibility of surgery.


Prenatal and Postnatal Pregnancy

Goals of treatment include reducing pain, improve and maintain mobility, prepare for childbirth and speed up recovery time after delivery.


Work Conditioning & Hardening

The objective of the program is to restore physical, behavioral and vocational function and capacity for a patient to return to work utilizing real or simulated work activities.
