Pediatric Feeding Therapy
Personalized Feeding Therapy Gets Results
Sequential Oral Sensory (SOS) feeding approach is a transdisciplinary approach to treating picky/problem eaters. Paramount Children’s Therapy Center offers trained therapists in this approach to treat children with eating difficulties through assessing and treating a child’s motor skills, oral motor development, and environmental and behavioral challenges for improving acceptance of new foods. The SOS approach to feeding is evidence-based and uses “Play with a Purpose” by using foods at the child’s developmental stage to play and explore new foods. Paramount therapists use this approach at the child’s comfort level, in a non-stressful way.
