Did you know that May is National Parkinson’s Awareness month? The color for Parkinson’s disease is silver/gray, so our staff dressed up in those colors to show our support!
Paramount Rehab has multiple different services for those that have Parkinson’s disease:

2. We have a Parkinson’s Symposium on May 17th from 2-5pm. It is a Q&A session with Dr. Kelvin Chou in Bay City, MI at The Comfort Inn. Dr. Kelvin Chou will be taking time to answer all of your questions regarding Parkinson’s Disease and movement disorders. This event is FREE and open to the public. 4. We have a class that takes place at the Freeland Sportszone on Thursday mornings. All movements focus on the principles from PWR! which stands for Parkinson’s Wellness Recovery. Although the moves are specific for people with Parkinson’s, these moves are beneficial for all individuals. The class is an hour long and the first part consists of warm-up, stretching and cardio drumming. The second half focuses on strength, balance and coordination.
