Pediatric Occupational Therapy

Personalized Occupational Therapy Gets Results

Pediatric occupational therapy at Paramount Children’s Therapy focuses on helping children and adolescents develop necessary physical, cognitive, and sensory skills so they can perform daily tasks more independently. Paramount Children’s Therapy OT’s focus on challenges related to sensory processing, social thinking and behavioral challenges, fine motor delays, and improving self-care independence. Our goal is to help children learn how to respond to a sensory rich world when completing everyday tasks, engaging in schoolwork, playing with friends, or simply enjoying life. Each child and their family is given a personalized sensory diet with ongoing work with their OT to help carryover progress from in the clinic to home, school, and out in the community for functional improvement in all areas of the child’s life. Occupational therapists at Paramount strive to make therapy sessions feel like play by participating in motivating activities individualized to each child.
