Our Bay City Patient of the Month is Lee Gainforth!

Lee was nominated by his therapists, Darlene Matlock, SLP, Julie Ricard, OT, Lauren Matherne, OT, Scott Garzell, PTA and Ally Bonner, PTA.

Lee attends physical therapy, occupational therapy and speech therapy at Paramount. He chose Paramount because he knew the speech therapist and wanted to try all of the therapies in one place.

Lee is now independent with self-care, can propel himself around in his wheelchair, his standing tolerance has improved and he has stability with ambulation.

He was nominated because he is an inspiration to keep fighting and never give up. He is willing to try new exercises/activities, even if he is fearful of pushing too hard. He also brings the best sense of humor to every therapy session.

Lee would like to add that the people are friendly here and he likes the pool exercise and the AlterG Anti-Gravity treadmill.
