Sunil Malewar
PT, OCS, COMT - Physical Therapist


Sunil Malewar, RPT, COMT, is president and owner of Paramount Rehabilitation Services.  Sunil graduated from India in 1981 and owned a  private practice in India.  He has earned the distinction of Certified Orthopedic Manual Therapist.

Sunil worked in a variety of physical therapy settings such as home care, nursing homes, acute care, community mental health and school settings, prior to opening Paramount Rehabilitation Services in 1997. He provides physical therapy to a wide variety of patient populations and specializes in manual therapy treatments.

Sunil is a member of APTA, Saginaw Chamber Of Commerce and Bay City Chamber Of Commerce. Sunil also participates in continuing education, mentoring his staff, and is a well-respected member of the Mid-Michigan community. In his free time Sunil enjoys playing tennis, swimming, and traveling.


Manjusha Malewar
PT-Physical Therapist


Manjusha Malewar, RPT, serves as the Rehab Director for Paramount Rehabilitation Services. After graduating from India in 1990 as a Physical Therapist, Manjusha worked in an Outpatient Rehab Center and ICU burn units. Manjusha owned her own rehab center in India.

Manjusha and Sunil moved to the USA in 1993. Manjusha worked in various settings after arriving in the USA including: inpatient, outpatient, nursing homes, and home care agencies and school settings from 1993 to 1997. Sunil and Manjusha opened Paramount Rehabilitation Services in Bay City in 1997.

Manjusha opened Children’s Therapy Center in Saginaw in 2006. Manjusha is trained in the following: Pediatric Evaluation and Treatment Planning, NDT Treatment in Pediatrics, Beckman Oral Motor Treatment, Therasuit for Neuromuscular Disorders, Kinesiotaping, Serial Casting, Interactive Metronome, Vestibular Rehabilitation for Balance Disorder and Dizziness, Sensory Integration, and Women’s Health. In her free time she enjoys camping and traveling with her family.


Sheri Karst
OTR/L, CHT, CLT-Occupational Therapist


Sheri Karst, OTR/L, CHT, CLT, graduated from Saginaw Valley State University as an Occupational Therapist. Sheri has worked for Paramount Rehabilitation Services for twelve years. Sheri received her hand certification in 2005 and is now a Certified Hand Therapist.

In 2012 Sheri became certified in Complete Decongestive Therapy and is a Certified Lymphedema Therapist. Sheri specializes in custom splinting, serial casting, hands, lymphedema, and home and job site evaluations. Sheri also has experience working with Work Conditioning patients and performing Functional Capacity Evaluations.

Sheri is a member of the Michigan Chapter American Society of Hand Therapists. She enjoys camping and spending time with her three children in her free time.


Sydney Rachow
OTRL-Occupational Therapist/Office Coordinator


Sydney Rachow, OTRL, graduated from Saginaw Valley State University with a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy. Sydney has experience with pediatric and adult patients from acute care to outpatient.

She is currently pursuing continuing education in Sensory Integration. She also attended the National AOTA Conference and presented at MiOTA Conference. In her free time she enjoys playing cards, tennis, and the great outdoors with family and friends.


Megan Monroe
OTRL-Occupational Therapist


Megan Monroe, OTRL, graduated from Saginaw Valley State University with a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy. She specializes in pediatrics and sensory integration.

Megan is a recent graduate and during her studies she completed research on LEGO therapy for children with Autism Spectrum Disorders and presented research at the Midwest Dean’s conference. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with family, traveling and going to concerts and summer festivals.


Heather Merritt
MA, CCC- SLP-Speech Pathologist


Heather Merritt, MA, CCC- SLP, has worked for Paramount Rehabilitation Services and Children’s Therapy since 2001 as a Speech Pathologist. Heather graduated in 1991 from Central Michigan University with a master’s degree. She is a member of the American Speech and Hearing Association.

Heather has extensive continuing education expertise in pediatric disabilities which includes swallowing, eating, and oral motor and speech impairments. Heather is very successful utilizing the Kauffman Speech Praxis Treatment Protocol and is certified in the Beckman Oral-Motor Intervention Program, LSVT. She is also certified to provide Vital-Stim Therapy to both pediatric and adult patients suffering from dysphagia.


Jennifer Valley
LPTA- Physical Therapist Assistant


Jennifer Valley, LPTA, graduated from Delta College in 2009 with a dual degree as a Physical Therapist Assistant and in Business Studies. Her background includes working in home care with orthopedic and neurological patient populations with a variety of diagnosis.

In school,  she had two clinical rotations in outpatient and one in inpatient rehab. Jennifer enjoys being able to help people. She has done continuing education in balance/vestibular and therapeutic exercises for older adults. She said her greatest accomplishments are helping people get back to the things they enjoy.


Scott Garzell
LPTA- Physical Therapist Assistant


Scott Garzell graduated from Delta College in 2015 with his Associate’s Degree as a Physical Therapy Assistant. He specializes in sports rehabilitation, and has attended a continuing education course in Dynamic Stretching. He loves to play golf.


Ken Hubbell
CMT-Massage Therapist/Tech


Ken Hubbell graduated from Bayshire Academy as a Certified Massage Therapist in 2010. He specializes in massage of all areas of the body. Ken has additional knowledge of frozen shoulder massage treatment. He enjoys reading in his spare time.

Deanna Snable


Deanna Snable graduated from Carrollton High School. She has worked for Paramount since 2013. She specializes in patient scheduling, filing, faxing, and other secretarial work. She enjoys spending time with her children, crafts, project around the house, and shopping!


Brooke Yenglin
Receptionist/PT Tech


Brooke Yenglin has been a receptionist at Paramount since 2015. She also assists therapist as a PT/OT Tech. She enjoys spending time with her family. Brooke loves the Detroit Tigers and Luke Bryan!


Mary Bukowiec
Financial Coordinator


Mary Bukowiec attended Northwood University and earned her Bachelor of Business Administration degree. She has worked in banking and finance for 25 years. Mary has been the Financial Analyst at Paramount since April 2015. In her spare time, Mary is involved with outreach programs for teaching healthy lifestyle changes.
